Job Opportunity – Real Estate Settlement, Title & Customer Service

Responsibilities:
• Prepare Settlement Statements/CDs;
• Order and review title and assist with title clearance of subject properties;
• Open title orders and order lien letters;
• Communicate and coordinate with lenders, buyers, and sellers in a closing transaction;
• Prepare documents and affidavits for closing;
• Schedule and maintain closing calendars;
• Prepare wires for transfer;
• Disburse files and issue checks post-closing;
• Issue closing documents and letters to appropriate parties;
• Provide internal and external customer service;
• Answer a moderate volume of phone calls;
• Deposit incoming funds from lender;
• Ensure file is properly balance and reconcile any differences with Escrow Officer;
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and above average attention to detail;
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision; and
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Desired Skills & Experience:
• Working understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word);
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and quality of work;
• Excellent people and organizational skills;
• Good problem-solving skills; and
• Proficiency in Softpro software preferred.
