Matthew J. Beam has been practicing law since 2005. He currently represents clients in the following areas: intellectual property, including trademark, trade secret and copyright law; business law; estate planning and administration; civil litigation; and real estate. He also brings experience from former areas of practice, including family law and bankruptcy.
Mr. Beam is admitted to practice in the following jurisdictions: the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, including lower state courts; the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, including the United States Bankruptcy Court; and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Beam grew up in Ligonier, PA. He graduated from Ligonier Valley High School in 1994, and received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Geo-Environmental Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University in 1998. Mr. Beam began his professional career as a software engineer. Following several years of work as an engineer, he entered law school and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005.
