Philip J. Scoleiri
Shareholder and Founder
Philip J. Scoleiri has been practicing law since 2005. He currently represents clients practicing law since 1984. During his over 40-year career, he has concentrated in the areas of real estate, construction and business law — with a particular focus on financing for private and commercial projects. In addition, Mr. Scolieri’s practice includes administration of estates.
Mr. Scolieri, who represents businesses and individuals, is admitted to Pennsylvania courts and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
A graduate of Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School, Mr. Scolieri received an undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh before earning a law degree from Duquesne University.

Matthew J. Beam
Shareholder and Managing Partner
Matthew J. Beam has been practicing law since 2005. He currently represents clients in the following areas: intellectual property, including trademark, trade secret and copyright law; business law; estate planning and administration; civil litigation; and real estate. He also brings experience from former areas of practice, including family law and bankruptcy.
Mr. Beam is admitted to practice in the following jurisdictions: the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, including lower state courts; the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, including the United States Bankruptcy Court; and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Beam grew up in Ligonier, PA. He graduated from Ligonier Valley High School in 1994, and received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Geo-Environmental Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University in 1998. Mr. Beam began his professional career as a software engineer. Following several years of work as an engineer, he entered law school and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005.
Andrew C. Goodermote
Attorney at Law
Andrew C. Goodermote, a North Hills resident, focuses his practice in civil ligation, resolving residential and commercial landlord-tenant disputes (representing Landlords), contract drafting, and all things real estate law.
As head of the Landlord-Tenant division here at Scolieri Beam Law, Andrew is one of Pittsburgh’s premier landlord-tenant attorneys, successfully representing landlords in hundreds of evictions every year.
In his role as Senior Associate, Andrew also has extensive experience in the following areas: property law disputes; zoning/code enforcement; lending documents and collections; agreements of sale; mechanics liens; business law disputes; business sales/purchases; business organizations; and real estate tax appeals.
Andrew is graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law, where he received CALI Excellence awards in the studies of Contract Drafting and Core Competencies for Legal Practice.
Before entering the legal community, Andrew obtained an MBA in Business Management from St. John Fisher College, located in Rochester, NY, his hometown. While in the MBA program, Andrew’s focus was business strategy and company growth, which has proven to be essential when forming and planning business organizations. Andrew also holds a B.S. in Business Marketing from St. John Fisher College.
In his spare time, Andrew is avid kayak bass fisherman and member of the KBF tournament trail. Plus, a die-hard Buffalo Bills and F1 fan.
Nicholas A. Corino
Associate Attorney
Nicholas A. Corino is an associate attorney at Scolieri Beam Law Group, P.C., concentrating his practice in real estate and business law. His work focuses on transactional matters, including the drafting and negotiation of agreements of sale, commercial leases, business organizational documents, and financing instruments, as well as landlord-tenant matters, real estate tax appeals, civil litigation, and estate planning and administration.
Prior to becoming an Associate, Nicholas served as a Law Clerk with the Scolieri Beam Law Group, P.C. for three years.
Nicholas is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Legal Studies, from St. John's University.
Andrew J. Hill
Associate Attorney
Prior to joining the legal profession, Andrew earned a B.A. in Political Science from Slippery Rock University and worked as a professional golf greenskeeper. While studying law at Duquesne, Andrew was part of the law school’s Appellate Moot Court program where he was trained in appellate advocacy which has proven essential when handling litigation, from filing a lawsuit until resolution of the case.
He also earned several awards for his educational and extracurricular achievements including a CALI Excellence award for Land Use Law, as well as the Shalom Moot Court Award, introduction to the Order of the Barristers, and a commemorative brick award with his name placed in the Duquesne Law School all for outstanding performance in appellate advocacy.
In addition to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Western District of Pennsylvania, Andrew is licensed to practice before the United States Court of Appeals Third Circuit.
Heather L. Winschel
Paralegal
Heather L. Winschel is a Paralegal with Scolieri-Beam Law Group, P.C. Heather provides support to the three practicing attorneys while also assisting with the post-close transactions for Greater Pittsburgh Settlement Company.
Heather possesses extensive law firm experience and assists with scheduling, research, coordination of a variety of legal matters, notarization of documents, post-closing assistance, disbursement, and billing. Heather is known for being focused, diligent, and an all-around asset to the Scolieri-Beam Law Group, P.C./Greater Pittsburgh Settlement Company team.
Heather began her career in the legal field in 2010 at a general practice firm as an Intern, later becoming the law firm’s Legal Administrator. While managing the law firm, she also took on the responsibility of managing several in-house entities which included a property management company, real estate brokerage, title company, and transportation company. Throughout the years, she realized that her passion was in real estate.
Heather Winschel grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she attended and graduated from Mt Lebanon High School in 2005. She graduated from the Community College of Allegheny County in 2010 with an Associate of Science Paralegal degree. Heather is an appointed Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
